Tariff of the Galleries
Rs.3500-00 per day, per Gallery.
First 2 Hours A/C on on complimentary during inauguration, further A/C Charges Rs.200 per hour.
Rules & Regulations of SGA
Galleries are available for exhibiting the Visual arts- Painting, Sculptures, Photographs, Graphic prints, Artefacts and Antiquities.
Applicants should enclose CD/DVD of their recent artworks, for a solo show it should contain minimum 5no. of recent artworks, a bio data and a self photo. For Group shows four artwork, bio data of each artist with self photograph is required. Failure to submit a complete Application Form with CD/DVD and bio-data is liable to be cancelled. Kindly note that CD/DVD will not be returned.
Commercial rate shall be applicable for private art school, college, institutions (Govt. Or non Govt.), diplomatic missions, etc. Non-Commercial applicants may subject N. G. O. Certificate for non-commercial use of a Gallery.
The application form shall be signed by the artist/person who wishes to make use of Gallery or represents the organizer group wishing to exhibit in Gallery.
All the payment will be accepted in Demand Draft payable at Hyderabad made in favour of “STATE GALLERY OF ART”.
The exhibitor is required to pay a security deposit of Rs.5000. The Security Deposit will be refunded after the deduction of dues or towards damaged to SGA and recoveries if applicable
50% of rentals and other charges must be paid in advance for confirmation of booking.
Booking dates can not be changed.
The request for cancellation of the Gallery is to be submitted in writing.
In case of cancellation amount paid will not be refunded or not transfered to others.
Paintings will be hanged on channels with support of thread (Thread to be brought by artist) no excess no. of paintings will be allowed to display on walls, floor or tables. Sculptures should be kept on pedistals.
First cum first service shall be followed.
Gallery reserves cancelation of booking In case of Government or SGA programmes duly refunding rentals.
Inaugural expenses Tea & snacks, Xerox charges (artist mailing list) have to be borne by the artist.
President/ Director decision is final in case of any dispute.
The SGA will not take any responsibility for the damage of the exhibits.
Gallery timings from 10.30 AM to 7.00 PM. (Extra duty charges Rs.500/- must be paid to the Gallery for the payment of staff on duty after 7 p.m. and on holidays)
During power cut No power will be supplied Gallery don’t take any responsibility.
Gallery will not take any responsibility of your belongings.
After exhibition the artists are requested to take back their painting within three days after paying their dues. Otherwise Rs. 1000/- per day will be charged.
Paintings should be hung as per prescribed practice. Use of tapes and other adhesives for displaying any materials on the walls and screens is not allowed.
Lights will be adjusted only by Gallery electrician after the display work is over.
The Gallery administration will be responsible for cleaning the Gallery after the display of exhibits. The Gallery administration does not hold itself responsible to give any assistance for the remove, display or storage of exhibits.
The Gallery shall provide pedestals, chairs, tables, potted plants and public-address system with an operator, if required by the applicant, at the rates stipulated.
Additional charges for parties if any after 7p.m. till 9p.m. will be Rs.5000. The amount to be deposited in the office before the commencement of the Exhibition.
The Gallery permits to serve only champagne and wine during opening functions but necessary permission to be obtained from the excise department.
The Gallery administration regrets that it has no storage space and, therefore, the exhibits cannot be stored in the Gallery after the show.
The Gallery can be booked for a period of minimum 2days and maximum on availability.
Any food or Beverages Not allowed inside the Gallery.
Should cooperate in case of power cut or AC repair.
